Bit of a nod to another thread on about the old days.. I was thinking about when I first joined here in Oct 2005 looking for a 172 Cup.

Here's a few pics of it from ~10 years back.

IIRC I was the first to retrofit oem xenons to a Cup.. Hah (only in 2nd pic there)

Got a brand new Clio these days too for family duties, 0.9 Turbo...

and my toy.. 550i

The same! Bought it brand new in 2001 from Belgium for £10.999 had 6 miles on it and picked it up from Dover docks. It had no number plates on it but I found out that from port of entry to the country to your home address you don't have to have number plates!! As soon as I left the port a police car was right in front of me, I thought here we go but nothing :up:. Now it heverly modified

I had X404HOU when I joined, my first ever 172. Back in April 2005 iirc!

I now primarily have a Modus diesel and a mini Works GP amongst others. (172, 1.2, CRV, 525i, fiat 20VT)

I absolutely loved my first 172, kept it for 10 years and sold it when it was on 160K or something. Massively regret it as it was in amazing condition. Here it is my first 172 from back in 2003 or something.

Looks brand new and I think it only had 10k miles on it at this point.
Anyway, had other blackgold (got to be BG) 182's but here is the latest and greatest:
