Your Guilty Pleasure.

We all know if we won a huge amount of money we would all be out buying cars left right and chelsea. But what is the one car that would be your guilty pleasure. I'm looking for cars that go against the curve and what people would never guess you would buy.

Here is what i would buy for my collection.

Used to hate Chevette's with a passion, well old Vauxhall's in general. But that is cool as hell :approve:

That's a hard one. I can't pick a Ford because people know I would buy one.

Good question mate. Possibly a Panamera Turbo S.

My brother is to blame for my Chevette fetish because he had three of them when he started driving. Along with an Ford Orion Ghia in white and a black fiesta MK1 XR2.
Retro cars have slowly grown on me and there is some superb examples out there.

OOo a Landy good choice. If i was to have an ex mil one it would be one of the pinky's used by the SAS.

  53 Clio's & counting
Hmmm.

Well we all have our wish lists, but if I was going to go really left wing, id take an original Mk3 Xr3 - early 4 speed

Had a bit of a thing for Vauxhalls when I was a "nipper" and still fancy owning a Turbo 4x4 Calibre or Cav.

At 7 years old I would have taken this over an F40....

RS182 for the day to day
R500 for the weekend
Richard Burns' 2001 Impreza WRC car, Money No Object
GT4 R34 Pace Car rep complete with all the flashing lights and 900bhp for the joker in the pack I guess, strikes me as ironic that a safety car can be much faster than the cars it escorts. But then I've always had a fetish for a good safety car - Bernd Maylander's SLS is tempting.

I see some people are confusing "Guilty pleasure" with simply what cars they'd buy if they were rich.

Mine would probably be one of these in 3.2 V6 Elite form, complete with wood trim the lot. Purely because my mum's old 2.5 V6 CDX was the first car I've ever driven and I've had a soft spot for them since.

I had an Omega 3.0 Elite in Tourer form and it was simply brilliant which, unfortunately, isn't something I can say about the other Vauxhalls I've owned in the past. I wanted the MV6 for the manual box but in reality the auto box is far better suited.

I've already had 2 of the 3 cars that are not only my guilty pleasure but that are most likely to be the death of me and grounds for divorce...

The first which I reluctantly sold a fair few years back was an '82 R5 Gordini Turbo. My current project is my R19 16v which is one of only four built (and one of two that survived). After thats done, and if I'm still alive, I will have an R8 Gordini.

What can I say, I love Renaults

An old Yugo.

Would love one, missed a really nice one on eBay for £600 about a year ago. Rarely seem to come up for sale, bet they are all scrapped :(

Same as Edd I used to have a bit of a Vauxhall fetish back in the day. I'd take a MK2 Astra GTE 16v!

As for the Omega's, My old man had an Omega 2.2 CDTI, got given it when he joined a new company on 22k and handed it back on 122k 2 years later without a single thing go wrong!

The landlady at uni had one of the below (same faded red colour too) with a fecked exhaust. The car itself felt unburstable, yet the fecked exhaust made it sound like a baby 911. Awesome Shat. :)

I remember when as a kid, there was a house behind ours that had one of these Viva Magnum things, but in blue. Looked great back then and I distinctly remember that the 2300 badge meant that the engine was HOOOOGE! - lol

Extremely ugly, Extremely camp, but extreme fun.. Had a brief drive in one years back. Now I would really like one, but couldn't drive around in it day to day.

As a toy, it'd be a Smartuki Roadster Coupe.:-
