The car got sportlines fitted today! The pic is a couple of weeks old.
I like the std colour wheels but just wondered if any one else has ideas,
I dont see many 172's in this colour and the ones i do are std.
Think white wheels are a bit ott for me.(im 33years young)
If any one could photo shop it with different colours that would be ace!

Keep them oem fresh then and just stick to silver.

They look mint, why are they being PC'd and why have you not decided what colour yet even though they're booked in :S
The rims are scuffed all the way round on all wheels,(By previous owner i might add) There is some paint bubble happening and the rears are stonechipped so bad, that there is no paint left.
I can tell em on the day what colour i want!

Silver wheels look best on Monaco 172's.
They said £300 for a set of 5 16"( I have a full size spare)
Thats drop it off in the morning and pick up in the evening! They remove/refit tyres valve and balance
There even fitting a set of new Rainsport 2's that im ordering tonight!
Ill give you a shout when ive had em done and send you some pics!

Ok £300 is not so bad for set of 5 with fitting/balancing and a same-day turnaround. As long as the finish is good.
I've been recommended PPS in Inverurie but I think you need to have tyres off first.
Defo post some pics/review up about how you get on.
Did your clio come on a private plate? A friend of my wife traded in a Monaco last year for a golf, wondered if it's the same car.

Ive used pps before for some 18" mondeo alloys, finish was good, but very thick. Had to do alot of sanding to get the wheel on. Was about 5 days without the wheels too.
Nice enough people.
The wheel specialist have good reviews and the finish on the wheels they have in their showroom are very good.
You just have to weigh up the costs i supose.
PPS will be about £220 for 4 and then there will be £40-£55 in refitting tyres, valves and balancing.
The cars not on a private plate, but it could well have had one in the past.

No mate, the one I know would've been in Keith and was traded in with the plate probably not the same one.
It also had a cup spoiler I think which is why I was mad when i'd heard it had been traded-in for peanuts, I could've swapped it over to my car.
Got my wheeels done today at the wheel specialist aberdeen,
Good job done, my only grumble is that the center caps had to be painted cos they are plastic and they are about 1 shade different in colour.
Would be a very hard job to get the colour match perfect i spose.
Service was spot on, and the job done in a day from driving in to driving away. 8am-4pm proper speedy!
I also made new nuts for the ctr caps out of stainless so no more unsightly rusty nut!
