Heater fan stopped working

As above, just wondered is this common? And is it normally the actual fan or is it the control?

If it works on number 4 only, it's the resistor.

If not, check fuse, check the motor is getting power etc. The usual checks.

Mine did the same thing. I changed the resistor, it now works fine again.
