Loss of poke since new clutch?

  DCI 80
Hey guys,

Had the clutch replaced yesterday on my DCI 80 as the release bearings were shot but after getting it back there's a real lack of poke.

Never had a clutch done before so i'm unsure of what to expect but i understand that its going to take a few hundred miles to bed in which is no issue.
The issue i have is that if i'm going along in 1st, no problems i shift up into second and the poke is gone, i can put my foot to the floor and the acceleration is barely there it just creeps up to 3000k really slowly, not slowly enough to make the car dangerous but the nip has gone from her.

Is this normal?
Cheers in advance.

Doesn't sound normal. I'd be checking for boost leaks in case they've had to move some of the turbo plumbing to drop the box. Don't know where it runs on these so can't really point you anywhere specific.

No stress Tom, thanks for the reply.

A lot of other Google searches are throwing up boost leak, looks like back to the garage i go. *sigh*

Depending on how it was done you do have to remove the intercooler hoses so would be good to check , also you don't have to bed a clutch in .
