clio 182 intermittent misfire fault

Car  clio 182 sport
got a clio 182 sport its got a intermittent misfiring fault it drives a bit and its fine then I get a misfire once I turn engine off and back on again its gone then will start again randomly whilst driving. Its had new coil pack, leads + plugs so done the obvious just don't no what could cause it. It it plugged in to a diagnostics machine and it comes up misfire 1-4. Does anyone no what it could be or experienced the same problem and found what the fault is? Thanks

I'd lift the inlet plenum off and check the plugs are tight and leads are not trapped.
Had a similar fault recently and it turns out there was a crushed lead.
No more misfire

done all that changed plugs yesterday. I can drive it then it'll misfire ill pull over switch engine of and back on again then its fine

Did you buy a genuine/bosh coil pack ?
You'd need a multimeter . If you've got any sparky mates? Could ask them to check them . It would be easier to pop it to a local garage and ask them should take them all of ten minutes .

just a quick update. I've changed the coil pack to a genuine bosh coil pack, changed spark plugs and leads, injectors, throttle body took the decat pipe off and put a cat and new lambsa sensor, crank sensor on and still comes up with intermittent misfire any ideas on what to try next?

Correct spark plugs? This engine is very funny about plugs. Failing that the usual culprits are the injectors or an issue with the loom somewhere. You can just buy the new injector or use a known used one for fault finding to see if the situation improves. Look for damaged cables, rusty or loose connections etc.

Just noticed your post. I'd start checking the loom for issues.

Worse on cold wet days could be a give away.

just had new injectors put in it. It can go a day without misfiring then all of a sudden misfire again. I've had it on code reader again and its still coming up intermittent misfire 1-4
