Urgent help required!!!!

I have a 2002 Clio 1.4 and this morning it will not start

It will turn over 2-3 times then just stop. Also the alarm now bleeps 3 times when I lock it which it never has in past.

It still unlocks off key and all ignition lights etc and it doesn't sound like its struggling like a flat battery.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Beeping indicates there is a problem with the alarm and or immobiliser.

I would assume it's the latter as your car won't start. What lights stay on if you put the key to POS II ?

It's now fired up and I've tried 3-4 times and it's worked fine now but I've also noticed the clock on dash has reset itself too midnight time though so it seems its temporarily lost power too reset time

Was going to say if in doubt and French disconnect the battery for 5 mins and see if that helps
