Whistle noise

I've got a whistling noise on hard acceleration after 3k

I've replaced the cat to mani gasket
Seems to be bolted on nice and tight?

Any other suggestions what it could be guys?

Seems I've had the exact same problems with my exhaust as you. I got the olive joint welded up and I've just replaced the gasket same as you as well.

Suppose I'll have to investigate! May get a new bracket for the olive joint see if that helps? Would a load of paste work? Haha

No it'll set hard and crumble.

Take it to an exhaust place and get them to sleeve it or just take the bracket off and weld the olive joint together.

If it's welded together won't it be more difficult to remove if cat needed to come off

Yeh, that's why it's probably better for them to weld a pipe on the end and sleeve it. I did ask for this to be done but he welded the joint haha. Only cost £40 or £50 though and it sorted it out so I can't complain.

Here's mine, it slides into the exhaust and is u clamped.

I'll have a look into that! Looks a good idea. I'm wanting to change my exhaust soon but can't afford to atm.
