Just ordered the Mrs one of these.

The test drive was awesome. So much fun. Just like the GP.

Went for this colour combo as it was free lol...

You tick the Bluetooth exhaust option?
Sadly not, but mainly as the Mrs didn't want to pay much. (She went in there wanting a Cooper D lol).

TBH the discount we got considering we didn't put many options on was great.

Although I'll be buying it some wheels off the new £32k Challenge car as I don't like the standard options!

Ohhhh. They are nice alloys.

I went out in a mates JCW the other day and she has just had one of them tune boxes installed.

So much torque in 2nd and 3rd gear. Can select between the normal map or the 275 Bhp map.

I'm tempted for this one.

Yeah in BMW's the same unit is 260bhp. So a 275bhp map is quite safe. A bigger intercooler and slightly larger turbo will get you nearly 375bhp!

Ridiculous power. When's your delivery date ?
Build will commence on the 14th of Nov, so early December.

I've requested we pick it up in Jan though as we'll be moving house in early December.

You're such a poor person! Who has 1.2s on a new mini jcw! Apart from Mad Dave and his bloody track car!

That's pretty good! Are MINI doing PCP/Lease deals?
Via TRL on Babybmw they are currently £289 deposit, then £289 a month for 47 months for a standard JCW.
I'm almost tempted to sell the R56 (&R53 lol), order one & fit the JCW Pro suspension kit from delivery (basically Kw V1 coilovers).
Have you thought about some lows @Sam ?

I've never been arsed with lowering cars in fairness Dave.

The only mod I want is the pro exhaust. Just a lot of money to spunk for one. [emoji53]

The offers are really good.

Ours was £400 deposit and £300 a month with a few options.

I want to put KW's and 1.2's on it but it's for the Mrs....

The map for 280bhp is only the standard BMW 328i map so it's only £300.

What options have you gone for @Waitey

Floor mats - £65
Seat heating - £215
Front and rear parking sensors - £590
Rain sensor - 90
Climate control - 325
Visual boost radio - 300

Total - £1585

It was cheaper than the Works chilli pack and she got the random things she wanted. Plus no gash black and silver wheels.

Total discount 12% (dealer contribution and finance contribution).

Some spec
Similar to my essentials list then, bar the parking sensors:
Exterior mirrors folding/anti-dazzle (inc. rear view mirror) - £335
Automatic air con - £325
Visual boost - £300
Heated front windscreen (inc. rain/light sensor) - £185
Black wheels - £150
Floor mats - £65
TOTAL - £1,360

Having messed about with pcpcal & TRL's offer (assuming a 9% discount on the car, plus £1000 finance contribution), it should be circa £1650 down (basically all the options, plus one month upfront), then £289 a month. I own mine outright, so selling it would pay for 3 years of the brand new one effectively. On the flipside, perhaps im just looking as ive been stuck with a normal R56S for 3 weeks (long story) and ive forgotten how good my JCW is!!!

The only 'free' colour is moonwalk gray now too. Its the colour my Mrs wanted anyway, so winner!

@Sir_Dave

Work have changed their car policy to allow 2 door hatch backs...

So I've spec'd up a JCW in my full work spec, eg all toys. Comes out at £421 a month. If I swapped the RS3 for it, I'd save £520 a month in payments and fuel. Thats ALOT.

  Peugeot 308
Having spent the last few days at head office, I love these things!

The maths isn't too bad, its just a case of justifying a car that I do not really need 😅

Just got a response my end on a JCW for myself;

Moonwalk Grey
Chili Pack
18" Cup Wheels
Dinamica Carbon Back Heated Seats
Variable Damper Control
MINI Tech Pack
3 Years TLC

£2000 down and £300 P/M

Going to work on those figures some more

Ive finally made another update to my beloved Mini JCW.

When i first bought the car, the bluetooth / challenge exhaust wasn't an option as they hadn't been released. Well, today (Nearly 2 years later) i finally purchased one and got it on the car!

The noise from this when the valve is open is immense. I love it. Transformed the car.

Here is a few pictures. Excuse the dirty car
