Anybody seen any deals on Michelin PS3's

Or even anywhere with stock 😂 None of the big online tyre companies seem to have any?

195/45/16, think I paid £75 a tyre last time.

Is it for a concours car? Can't see why you would buy a set over the PS4s. They won't make ps3s and really after 2 or 3 years they will almost be all gone. Some weird men will be storing them in the garage to sell to concours guys in a few years.

Older car? Essentially they are obsolete...

Yeah PS3s are pretty obsolete now sadly. Does my nut in that they don’t do a 195 15 in the PS4 since that would cover loads of older hot hatches, MX5s etc. Let alone a 16 inch option!

Any you do buy have probably sat in a warehouse for... a while.

Who makes a 15 inch wheel for a hot hatch? Or warm hatch? Not exactly a big market anymore. 17 and up!

Loads of people do [emoji23]

But I suppose most wouldn't want to run an R tyre on the road if looking for PS3s
Loads of marnuafcturers make cars wih 15inch wheels that require ps3s style tyres? Go on...

Not new cars. But there are a huge number of enthusiast cars out there that run 15 inch wheels. Enough that it's definitely a market, IMO.

But less for mass market tyres like PS4's and more for dedicated track rubber which will also be used in club championships.

PS3 aren't obsolete in smaller tyre sizes as they don't make PS4's in anything below 16" and even then they're wider and fatter than a Clio needs

Personally, I'd f**k the idea of PS3's off and just go ContiSport3's as they're cheaper, widely available and still give you a comfy drive but won't fold over at the thought of a corner

I'll see if any appear in a few weeks as the current ones still have a bit of life in them and not using the car that much at the moment.

That was actually my next plan. I've got Sport contact 3's on one of the sets of wheels for my gti-r so know they are good tyres 😉

I found my ContiSC2's absolutely mint. Even down to the last mm. Literally the last mm, the insides were like Ron's bonce😂

My point still stands. How many enthusiasts are going to keep the Michelin brand in money? My brother's new st line fiesta comes with PS4s as standard. Essentially a zetec s with proper performance tyres.

How many PS4s will be sold compared with ps3s? I'm not arguing they should be cause we want them, I'm just saying the facts.

Renault don't make a manual 3 door Clio anymore...

Well, precisely as many as they currently sell in PS3? It probably costs Michelin more to maintain production of a completely different tyre compound just to make a smaller size tyre.

Most people still running PS3 would happily go to PS4 and just because there aren’t many cars being built with rims that small now, it doesn’t mean there’s an absolute bucketful out there already.

What about Bridgestone re070, had a look the other night for subaru as were Oem.

Could not find any, have theg been discontinued or does no one stock in winter as a summer tyre.
