Wipers won't switch off

Hi all,

I've got my 182 back from the paint shop and the wipers now won't switch off.

Any suggestions on what maybe broken or need adjusting.

Latest update.

After disconnected the battery, the intermediate setting has stopped working and the wipers remain on for 1-2 minutes after turning them off.

We disconnected the battery again and the wipers now stop when you turn them at their current position and don't go back to their starting position.

When I first bought the T, it had a dodgy ground that caused endless alarm issues. I spent ages replacing all the grounds, cleaning connectors, and eventually swapping out both the ECU and UCH. After that, the gremlins were gone.

The T has just returned from a two-month, back-to-metal and glass-out restoration. I’m crossing my fingers that a small amount of water leaked through the top of the dash and I'm not about to start another electrical mystery

My intermittent & park failed recently.

Small hint of melted plastic on one of the harness side UCH connectors. Took it apart and found two female sockets melted together inside.

Re-pinned into a new (used) connector housing. So far working fine with original UCH.

I had very similar issues with a 182 years ago. Proper random electrical faults and bills for thousands in replaced parts. Stuck in limp mode.
Guy had enough and sold it to me.

Pulled the bulkhead Loom connector apart and it was a right mess In there. Melted wires galore.
Once repaired, it lived on for many many miles.

Definitely worth checking.
