205s instead of 195 50 15?

Hi all I know it’s been Probly coverd to death if anyone can point me in thread direction or just tell me on here I’m currently on 195 50 15 just wondering going to 205s are we into big time rubbing on track running gaz gold ect

Might be ok.

Mine rubbed on the rear with 205 on 7j ET38 2118's during corner on track, no rubbing on the front.

No spacers, stock camber.

It was only a tiny amount of rubbing.

Ended up running 195 rear and 205 front and that felt like a nice balance.

Don't want loads of rear end grip anyway if you want to be quick.

I run 205/50/15 on et43 2118 on my trophy. No rubbing on rear, get occasional chirp on top of front arch liners on full compression but thats due to rideheight.

Mine were fine with no rubbing.

My setup was 205/50 on 15x7 ET35 with widened track on the front plus 10mm wheel spacers, and 10mm camber spacers on the rear.

I ran 2.5° front and 2° rear camber.

Be aware though that not all 205 semi slick tyres fit the same, some have very square sidewalls, some are wider than others.

My current nankang crs are defo wider than my old r888r, im sure they were 10mm or so when measured.
