Upgraded to an OLED monitor today.

The ROG Strix XG27ACDNG to be precise, just rolls off the tongue like all of them do.

It’s a 27” 1440p that goes up to 360hz and looks bloody amazing tbh.

In summary - if you haven’t already got an OLED and your main use case is gaming…do it.

This is the one I bought recently also. It really is a fantastic bit of kit. I stuck mine on a reasonably cheap Amazon arm:

This was my hope, when 50** series came out the 40 series would drop quite a bit in price, if anything they seem to be going up...

Assume it's to do with the soaring costs for memory, and shortage of parts.

As @Willo40 said, it is the shortage of memory as the push for AI and the data centres continues to soar. It is all about the AI, and those datacentres have ridiculous resource requirements. There is limited stock coming through for consumers and prices are stupidly high as a result.
