Photography Chat and Questions Thread

The Ricoh GR’s look great for a daily carry, my problem being is that I have an old Panasonic GF3 with a 25mm (50mm equivalent) that I can’t not take with me.

Exactly why I’ve bought it Daz, I hate phone photos so wanted something to take about with me daily. My A7C is small but not small enough.

I can see this making me sell the A7C for an A7IV. Ricoh for EDC and then the Sony for more dedicated stuff.

@Daz... turned up last week, it’s really quite impressive. Went for the iii x as I prefer 40mm over 28mm.

Dynamic range isn’t far off the Sony, it recovers shadows well and rolls off highlights nicely.

Image quality is really good, lens is pin sharp. AF isn’t anywhere near Sony, but not much is. It’s not bad though, just hunts a bit in low light.

Most importantly, it’s tiny.

Now is not the time to be tempting me with new cameras, I’ve only recently purchased the 70-350 Telephoto lens for my A6400.

That Ricoh is impressive for something so compact!

I want a film camera for a trip to Wimbledon next week.

Any cheap recommendations?
Or can someone lend me one

Interesting. The mv1 looks nice, any recommendations for a point and shoot?
I haven't I'm afraid.
This is new though so might be worth picking up.

Not sure where you'll get them developed, I've used these before and they are very good.

They digitise the film and also print them. They are pricey if you want prints too but I'm not sure how many film labs are around now.
