Mystery check engine light

Was driving along the motorway earlier and my check engine light came on. Absolutely no change in how the car was running so I stopped briefly at a services, checked my oil and had a quick look to see if anything had come unplugged but couldn't see anything, then carried on to my destination.

When I got there I took my RSTuner and laptop to the car and plugged it in... and found zero fault codes.

I've been out to the supermarket and petrol station since then and the light is still illuminated, but there still aren't any fault codes, stored or pending or anything.

Any ideas?

Probably still put it on regardless of spacer with 100cel. Suprised nowt has come up with rstuner, clip would show

I'll stick the computer on again later and check voltages etc, now I've got an idea of what to be checking 👍🏻
 
Still no codes but I went out for a drive earlier and the secondary lambda was showing between 107mV and 819mV, which appears to be outside the normal range.

My question is why it took nearly 1000 miles to trigger some sort of error. If the spacer is doing nothing then surely driving across Europe at 90-100mph for long periods of time would have caused more of an issue than pootling around in England for an hour or two 🤔

Unless it's an issue with the cat itself, but it's less than a month old so I don't think it would have shat itself this quickly

Should be a steady voltage in the 400-500mV range for post cat.

Assuming it's not working properly after a month, what could have killed it so quickly? It's definitely all bolted up properly and there's no leaks as far as I can tell

Only other thing i can think of is it's over fuelling.

Hard to tell without having it checked with an emissions test, you'd have high CO readings and possibly high HC reading for unburnt fuel.

It was over fuelling horribly before I fitted the new lambda sensors at the same time as the new cat. Since then it's run like a purring kitten.

How much is a K24 swap nowadays? 🤣
