Rover MGZR turbo!?

I know its not a clio and its not french, but I thought I'd tell folk . went out last ngt to the local town of Ulverston to sample a few pints, me and some mate were standing outside the pub a few lads went by in the odd saxo, fiesta, mg zr but then this Gunmetal Gray MGZR (with X Power across the windscreen- looked totally standard! just a letter box style exhaust) went past put his foot down, there was a noise of a tubo winding up then twooooossssshhhh! I was abit puzzled! by the time I had thought about it he came past again, and again he put his foot down and it shot off like some one with a giant boot had kicked him up the arse! and again twoooossssshhhh. by my knowlege they didn't make a MGZR turbo did they?? :S it was a newish one 53-04 reg didn't really pay much attention to the plate. a proper sleeper! but stil......its a Rover :rasp:

ha ha funny as!!! cheaper option- get a mate to hold a bottle of coke/lemonade (which evers your favorite) and unscrew the cap! when you change gear

having owned a zr i know that it is a common thing to stick the 220bhp 2.0ltr turbo in them as a awesome engine upgrade.
i have seen a few of these when i used to go to the meets lol and they are rapido
