Mk1 Phase 3

This is my first car and i realise that not alot of people on here will like it but when your 17 its quite a novelty ( its starting to wear of already tho, too low and very very loud! lol) Its something to have fun with until i can afford better things as you all know its not buying the car its the insurance thats crippling at my age, but to be fair its a good first car what you think??

just got green pannel filter and de-cat at the moment but i dont want to spend any more money on it really.

did the boot myself only cost me £20 for the lot

be harsh or nice true opinions are better,

I like. Would be better if it had just one single oval exhaust rather than 4, but apart from that looks to be a mint fun first car!

I'd say thats actually a pretty smart little motor. I had a Mk1 phase1 for my first car with only 15" rims and ICE, but I loved it.

Got a good looking front end as well. The exhausts are a bit much for me but overall its good. Enjoy it mate.

haha thanks, i really hate lexus lights i think the normal renault ones look cool anyway

Good looking car, my MK1 Phase 3 is my first car. Yours looks good, I like the body kit. As you said it is rather low though.

It is a bit "in your face" but it's not too bad, I have seen a lot worse. It does look like a tidy motor though, congrats! I spy Yoko rubber as well.

Im not overly keen on the rear bumper, but apart from that I think it looks really smart. Maybe colour code the bumpstrips and door handles to finish it off? Good work on the install too, look good!

I bought the car pretty much "as is" all i have changed is things which i can take to a new car like buckets, good speakers etc. I did buy new rear shocks as the back was sooo bouncy. The boot build was something i wanted to have a go at when i was bored lol.

My car got reversed into and now has a naffed left front wing. While its in the repair shop im going to ask about the bump strips, i would like to do it myself though.

This is where im heading with my next car, down the euro path i love this car......

I love that, mostly because the colour is the same. Not sure on the body kit however.

Hi mate, nice looking car. I see your from Suffolk. Did you buy the car from a bird in Haverhill? Looks very similar to one thats been around in haverhill for a while.

thanks m8, yer i was happy with it as a first go, i basically put cardbord in the back to get a template then cut mdf to fit then recovered it all in acoustic carpet, job done..this pic shows it better.....oh yer and lots of spray glue for the carpet

Nope, i bought it from haverhill but from a guy about a year ago. There is another one similar to mine around this area same kit and colour i think.

spare was in a cage under the car but the exaust took its place, if i go on a long trip i just take a spare in the back.
