Gearbox takes 75w80 and I use 5w40 in the engine in mine. I changed the gearbox stuff with normal castrol stuff and it made a massive difference.

its not easy when you have massive air filters in the way, and a skid pan underneith, but your cars so low you cant get a jack under it

Well in that case, remove the filter and drive your car on to blocks of wood or similar so you can fit a jack under it, or buy a decent jack

I wouldnt say changing gearbox oil is "easy".... patience is needed and small hands.

Did mine last week for the 1st time ever and ended up removing air filter to gain access. Then you have to some how find a way of getting the oil in (dodgy angle and small hole) Luckly i fould something perfect in halfords.... a big long funnel and moves at the end.

Got a face full of oil too cause of the wind lol

I used silkolene 5w-40 for engine and i think silkolene 75w/90 for gearbox.... dog in the morning but lovely once warm.

will be buying some millers gearbox oil for mine as soon as my car comes back. also a rather poor excuse to have a blast to wrexham to pick it up from demon tweeks. there loads of places locally that sell it but dont tell the missus ;)

think the millers is £50 off DT.

also quite like elf excellium 5/40 engine oil, but will try some silkolene pro s this time to see if it makes any difference.

gear box oil is hellishly expensive
Depends what normal oil you use I use expensive normal oil so the gearbox stuff for £40 cheaper than the engine stuff.
