Yozzasport Exhaust Fitted :)

  182 Trophy & Megabusa
To cut along story short...10/10!

looks great with the larger tailpipes, quiet at idol, quiet at 30/40mph, not droney, not too loud on the motorway, but when you give it some throttle it shouts, but it isn't just loud, it has got a lovely tone to it too! Sounds like a superbike, and the blips are naughty. Definately improves performance too, noticeably quicker!

cannot fault it!!!

Don't doubt the sound or performance aspect of this system but at the risk of getting flamed here I gotta be entirely honest and say that visually the welds etc don't look any better than my Milltek (even though I'd also have to say they look ok to me if that makes any sense) and more significantly the tailpipes almost look standard

Runs for cover................................................

Thats EXACTLY why I liked this system!! ;)

But its all about opinions fella!! there are over 22500 members, and lord knows how many forum users!! we are not all gonna like the same.

the system is not new at all, was going to buy a new one but this one came up very cheaply so I brought it.

Could be better...

I will agree with Rich that the welds could be much better...:(

Theres nothing wrong with the welds, was merely saying they are no better than others which constantly get dissed as being poor

Sorry,misunderstood...:(

It has so many connections that ruin the flow of the exhaust...
I think it is called "turbulence flow" if i spell it right.:dapprove:

Yep best system for the 182....had mine on since november last year...cant fault...

Like Chris said, its a proper system, none of the nancy boy pro speed, dead flame etc!!

  VRS
looks nice, i personally prefer the old style prospeed and the btb with the twin silencer design rather than the more restrictive single silencered designs :)

  ST
Any of the pro speed 182 systems i've seen hang far too low below the bumper with too much rear box on show...

As above, one silencer being more restrictive than two??

am i right in thinking i saw you on saturday night up basildon with a black astra keeping pace with a CTR?

if i am right then this is one naughty car ;)

What he means is the design of the Yozzasport varies from others, BTB, Blueflame, Magnex etc... as in, theres still TWO tailpipes, BUT, only one silencer underneath rather than the two (one for each tailpipe) if you catch my meaning!!

Although I don;t thinks its more restrictive at all!

thats a bad choice of words of my part lol i blame it on the stupidly early start i had at ework 2 day lol

what im trying to say is that from what ive seen, the exhausts that use the single side on silencer dont seem to have as good gains as the ones which use the twin silencer system

  VaVa
Yeah, i took it a bit too literally at the time m8. Didn't the Orbisoud use one rear box?

Interesting... as far as I've seen it doesn't really matter which exhaust you have in terms of power.... cat back at least. it's the decat that gets you the power inmho.

Just to point out - this was our prototype system that we recently sold So you can see - they wear very well. This system is about 18 months old.

It might not visually be everyones bag, but as we always say - if people want a different looking system - we can certainly make them.

Exhaust sustems that have more curves than another with more straight design, are more restrictive.

The more straight designed the exhaust has,the better flow you get.;)

Check the Orbisoud.
The internals of the backbox are in a straight line compared to the rest of the system.
If you choose a system with the back box vertical to the chassis, then it won't give you the same flow speed compared to a system with the box in parallel position.

This is for all exhaust systems, not only Yozzasport.

the car was flying last night...whether it be the backbox or the decat giving the gains...it is definately faster and so much more alive all over the rev range!

still can not get enough of that sound:eek: :)

tailpipes are nice and subtle on that system. welds are nothing above average though, I'll get some of mine and you can see the difference between manual TIG welds and one that's been computer laser welded

  Lionel Richie
TIG welding is the best, end of story

if any of you are qulaified welders, let me know and i'll gladly have a discussion about it

TIG welding may well be the best, but it's only as good as the person doing it. A computer wont make mistakes like a human either, plus the neatness and consistency will always be better.

I'm sure those welds are very good Fred, just from other posts I'd expected it to be something special, just looks like any other system to me tbh and I've had a total of 6 on Clio's now. When I next get the chance to put mine up on ramps I'll show you the difference a computer makes.

Makes sense that. Also, if you were also to lay this (the yozza) and all the piping out in a straight line, there is alot more length to the yozza one......compared to the above Orbisoud. Wonder if that makes any difference?

yozza3.jpg

Lazer welding, computerised, robitics............did your exhaust cost you tens of thousands?

nope, otherwise I'd be back on your case over the money I spent for tuning that was never completed over 2 years ago to help towards the costs ;)

Fred - didn't realise it was such a touchy subject? I'm just a bit curious as to all the accolades these systems are getting when to me it just looks like any other system you can get. What justifies the £460 plus £25 delivery over any other system, performance better than competitors? etc etc
