Renault dealer quoted price for a few things on my Mk1 172

Hi guys,

My 2001 172 is well due for a cam belt change (it's done 36k miles).

I have asked a renault dealer to quote on the following:

Full cam belt kit (with all tensioners and pulleys)
Aux belt
Water pump
Brake fluid change
Oil change (i'm providing the silkolene 5w40 - is 6 litres ok?)

They have quoted me £606 incl. VAT.

is this a fair price ?

could be cheaper elsewhere but thats pretty decent considering some of the prices I have seen from renault

thanks mate, i thought it was quite fair.
they quoted £530 all in for the cam belt, aux belt and water pump.

think i will go with the dealer, not something i want fitted by a garage with no experience of the 172 cam belt change.

Hill power are good! 450 all in for cambelt and waterpump!

Depends where in the country you are but £600 isn't that unusual.

i asked renault to change my brakes front and back they asked for 703pound, my jaw hit the floor lol i didnt go there
