How to replace a wing?

  Breaking A 172 Replica
Ok so I need to return my car back to normal dynamique guise which involves removing the modified, to fit 172 bumper, wing.

How long will this take?

Does the door need to come off?

Can anyone take me through the process?

Thanks in advanced

Sam

generally (may be slightly different but generally) you get on your knees, undo a bolt through the sil or 2.

drop the arch liner off and check there aint none inside it going into like by the A post (door hinge). open the door and as if your climbing into the car, look at the wing down the gap, and you should see 2 bolts in there too, generally 10 mils or 13 mils.

drop the corner of the bumper down or slide it off, there should be another couple where the bumper slides onto.

then open the bonnet and theres 5 or 6 along there.

i also think theres a pain in the arse one by the bonnet hinge from what i can remember few years ago, its like under the scuttle panel edge, but i could be wrong

All the bolts have rusted and there is gunk everywhere!
