Well after a major PC session yesterday, i finished it today, (between the showers :dapprove so here are a few pics of my new(ish) 182

Start off proceedings, just been clayed and washed down (no 'getto' before pics lol, left the wheels till later )

Well thats it for now. Only mod so far, is the H&R's. Planned mods in the short term is a new exhaust of some description come August time! Bloody shame the sun went in, as in the sun nothing comes close to Black Gold

Lots of bloody elbo grease lol. Bloody PC'ing this was HARD work lol. Basic run down..... Full clay of car with megs quick clay, PC'd with Menzerna intensive polish on yellow pad.... then final finish on the white pad. Then full SRP by hand (prefer it that way), followed by EGP x2. Then added some Megs carnuba wax i had lying about in the shed Has come up 100% better than it was! Now its raining outside Poor car.

Looks nice and shiny, and the recaro's set the car up nicely!

Tell me about it, its pissing down outside now . Think i need some 50/50 too, don't have a decent wax to top it up yet. Oh and no. The recaros are mine out of my Cup, i hated the standard 'high chairs' couldn't wait to swap them over!

Can I possibly deam myself more dedicated I washed mine about half and hour ago in the rain and dark. (well washes the brake fluid off it).

Mines in a terrible state though yep.

Yep H&R's chap. Could go lower (my old Cup was), but happy with the set up, doesn't catch any arch linings at all. Result!

Wow...looks like coilovers are first on the list of subtle mods for me then!! LOL.

Looks amazing! Wonder if there are any pictures of Racing Blues with coilovers (standard just lowered). Anyone know of any?

The Menzerna stuff outclasses the Megs 83 and 80 in finish.

The B&Q own brand painters tape is ok, but works out more expensive than the 3m stuff from my local motorfactors.

Yep seemed good to me

Its hard work though, least its done now.I take it i probably wont need to use the intensive polish again if i look after it? Just apply final finish from time to time?

Wash it carefully and you wont even need the Final Finish for a while. In a years time you may need the IP in spot areas but probably not on the whole car.

Thank god for that. Its hard work!!! How anybody can do that as a job 5 days a week is beyond me!!! I might need to invest in some 4" spot pads, struggled with the front bumper especially.

4 inch spot pads are a must for Clios, I use them on the Rear Spolier, Valences, lower doors and quarters and off late even on the front wings.
