Servicing of 182...

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations of were to get my 182 serviced (when it is due). I live in the north west (any Renault specialists up here?) and also is there a cam belt change at 25,000? i seem to remember seeing it somewhere?

theres yozzasport thats where i got my service done. the cambelt is 72k or 5 years

cambelt is 70k or 5 years. aux is 36K. id get cam done b4 its due tho. cant help you on the garage.

cheers, i'm sure i read somewhere that 172/182's needed something "expensive" doing at about 25K... oh well i must have missed something :S

Aux?? what is this Aux you speak of, My 182 has done nearly 32k miles. Is this something i should be saving up for???

The Aux belt needs chnaging at 36k its the belt which of the camshaft powers the PAS and colent and air con and alternator needs chnaging else it breaks and takes out the cambelt 99% of the time

Service rule setc here then ahgain these were the rule not the ideal amount of time to do things.

Yep 2.7 hours labour to do it about £12 for the belt.

I have taken mine to Arnold Clarke wigan for my first service. My second service is nearly due. So i might go to Sunwin at preston.
