tv help please

i know that some tv's run 720 p and 1080 p (or something like that) - im not too cluded up lol

if not what tv does it within a decent price bracket

Look at the resolution - Screen resolution 1366 x 768.

720p is progressive (Hence the "p" and hence Comet mention "Progressive")

It's capable of 1080i not 1080p.

i really want one for ps3 purposes and blu ray so would the one i stated be ok with blu ray or would i need the 1080 i

wou nattering on to a lad who dosnt even no what 1080p is so y would he need to no,

just advise him that the TV he showed is 1080i

and a good tv for his PS3 would be a 32-40" 720p-1080p.

progressive means it refreshes teh tv picture all in one go online interlaced (regular tv's) that paint all the odd lines then all the even lines so the picture actually comes up in 2 bits

trouble is all lcd tvs are progressive by nature they dont do interlaced at all

1080p is the daddy at the mo but unless you sit about 1 ft away from the screen you wont notice s**t on a 37" screen

lg hmm i wouldnt the gf;'s parents one you cant even adjust the backlight so all the whites are very over blown

me nowt at the mo i gave up on the idea of having a new tv after my 1080p one back in december/january every screen i have looked at has faults/bad spec but all i seem to do is read about tv's every day at work been slacking in teh last month or so tho as i have been reading about cameras instead
