Best way to remove swirl marks from carbon bonnet?

Should just be lacquered like normal paintwork. A machine polish with a mild polish like Menzerna Final Finish or Poorboy SSR 2 would be my first route.

Working by hand Meguiars Scratch X or Carlack Swirl Remover Paste and lots of elbow grease

i use mer on glider wings that gives a really good finish on the gel coat

dont know what your bonnets covered with but i asume its some sort of gel coat to protect it

only ever made internal aircraft parts out of carbon so ive never had to polish it

Gona be doing it by hand.

Meguiars Scratch X and a folded Terry Towel for more bite and even pressure, work in small areas working the polish so there is noting to remove ensuring it is broken down and doing is job. Will need a few applications in most cases to be sucessfull.

Yeah is a good way to go working by hand on normal paintwork.
