COURT SUMMONS

  E92 330
Jus thought id inform everyone how i got on at court yesterday but firstly id like to thank those who gave me advice and stuck up for me when most threads shot me down!

Recap - I went to court as i was caught doing 108 on the M6, i previously had 9 points on my licence!

Firstly i conceeded that i was going to get band so thought wasting money a solicitor was not really conceivable so i decided to represent my self.

I turnd up to court and was informed by the court usher that no duty solicitor is provided for motoring offences.:S

I entered court in my halifax suit armed solely with a character reference which described me as very enthusiastic. After explaining to the court that my girlfriend lives in carlisle, how my job is situated 15 miles away from my home and how my mother relies on me driving to ensure my brother comes home from school safely (10 miles away), i was informed that the minimum driving ban applied would be 6 months unless the court accepted my plea of exceptional hardship. The court would reside to discuss my sentance. . . .

The court emerged and informed me that i would recieve ...

0 points :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
£200 fine :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
