What do I do ??? Opinions please

Car  FF cupped Arctic 182
As some of you may have read I have had no end of problems with gordon lamb, however they broke my splitter last time i was there and so i have to go back so they can fix that.

The thing is the front tyres are on the limit, and so i asked them for a price - theyve come back with £107 fitted each which i didnt think sounded too bad considering i got quoted £130 fitted elsewhere. BUT I am loathe to hand over any cash to them at all so now i'm in a quandry - do i get them to do the tyres or not? Figure i've got more come back if they mark an alloy - but i still begrudge giving them any more of my money.

:S

Opinions asap please!

just let them do it! 107.00 isnt too bad from a main dealer - i paid 90.00 from kwick fit the other year but i shopped around alot and told them what i wanted to pay! (that was the cheapest at the time) ive had them change tyres for me and they didnt mark them! TELL THEM :o....be carefull! if not pop to my house i have some spray that will get rid of all the marks they put on!!

Morning btw ;)

LOL thanks hun :o

Gonna ring a couple of local places to double check someone isnt gonna offer it up at £80 a tyre (in my dreams) or something daft.

if the cars with them and you dont want the hassle let them do the work and tell them to take care!! other wise..maries suggestion is sensible!! :o

I personaly wouldn't pay Renault prices for tyres.

There is no hassle with Black Circles, you order them online 205/45/16's - PE2's - V Rated, state where and when you want them fitted then turn up to the fitting place, they fit them, job done.

But costco don't do fitting last time I was there so she'll need to find someone to fit them for her.

Most places like kwick-fit etc will only fit tyres they supply.

I'd try someone like black circles as already suggested.

Costco in Reading does.......

Hi Mate. Have you had a look on www.e-tyres.com. You order your tyres online and they come out to your home or workplace and fit them for you. Got 4 new yokohamas fitted from them cost just over 200 quid for 4 tyres fitted on my 172.

My local Costco do fitting also but its a half hour journey for me where as the local centre BC use is 5 mins away so worth the extra few pence paid to save me the hassle of another M6 journey.

Thanks alot for your help - I think I'm gonna go with black circles (thanks Marie x) £87 fitted at a place about 1 mile away.

:D

They were £85 fitted at Costco last time I got them (over a year ago) so can't really grumble at that, no problem hun, buy some new shoes with the £40 saving lol :p
