thumb grip on 172

is there any way of replacing the thumb grip on the 172 without getting a new wheel? the right hand grip is starting to wear ?

has anyone got in touch with renault uk , and got anything out of them , because no steering wheel should start to fall apart , with only 34k miles on the clock!

common problem this, usually replace under original warranty.

I have a new wheel on mine from a 182! and scared to even go near the grips!

The left side of my wheel looks like its wearing away.Its only done 16k FFS ! I have a normal left hand so could l get a new wheel from Reno....maybe a smaller one?
