I've decided what colour V6 is for me...

If a rare colour comes up, I'll take that I think! Liquid, acid, lunar, deep bronze ;)
 
i do like the silver though, does really suit the lines but like you say, lunar all the way ;)
 
i love it!
if i could choose any colour it would be lunar or deep bronze.

never used to like the bronze, and even remember commenting on it but saw a pic a while ago of the whole car and not just a section of paint and it looked absolutely stunning.

They only did the one deep bronze though! Super rare! :dapprove:

yeah, is it JR on here who owns it?
to be fair i think every colour suits the car, and it still stands out in a good way in any colour so if i ever get the chance to buy one then i'd go for condition more than colour!

when are you going to be in a position to buy one?

Its not going to be until next spring/summer, got the 182 they way I like it so I might as well enjoy it! Besides its not costing me any money at the moment!

I'll be 23 and have 4 years NCB by this time next year! The hardest part is going to be selling my car, I would like a forum member to buy it, someone that will appreciate what I have done to it!

What colour Vee would you have then? And what mods ;)

Mine would be any rare colour, with QS exhaust, induction kit, anthracite standard alloys, coilovers and bucket seats! :star:

The Vee won't be going anywhere near the centre of town thats for sure, chav central down there!

I'll take you out in it next year if you buy my 182 off me ;)
 
I personally think the Black ones look the bollox, it was a very close call between a Black 255 and the car i actually bought!
 
HAHA! I wonder how long it will take you to get one!

After getting a shot in colins, it took exactly 9 days! HAHA! Than included finding one and fundin it!

But it was ALWAYS going to be illiad! - Best colour imo

Bronze - Owned by an old man ;)
Red - Nah, pink bus - been there done that
Black - Colin had it and his would always look better!
Silver - Didn't like it - But i do now!
Yellow - Small p enis
Green - Smaller P enis
Lunar - They forgot to paint it.

I've seen the deep bronze in the metal before at GDI. It looked black at first, but looked closer and you can see the metallic bronze undercoat. Bet it looks awesome in the right light.
 
They look stunning in any colour. I think I'd rather have a rarer colour though. There's a liquid, an acid and a lunar on pistonheads atm :)
 
Id say silver shows off the vees curves best, but liquid yellow or mars red with anthracite pods nd wheels is a more appealing to the passer bye :)

For me it's Acid or Nothing.

I might settle for a Lunar though, just cause it seems to p1ss everyone off :)
 
IMO all the colours look ACE. :cool: Except maybe lunar!:quiet:

I'm pretty sure i'll get slated for this cos I have a blue one but....

People always put illiad blue down as "the common colour". But in the flesh it looks great with a really nice metallic flake to it. It also suits the car VERY well with the silver pods, alloy wheels, filler cap, backbox, etc.

If you want mean get black.:evil:

If you want to show off even more than any Vee does ;) get yellow! Either shade will do!;)

Red is err OK:boring:

Silver looks OK, but every car is silver these days as are almost all the mk1's.:boring:

Forget the mega rare ones as you'll spend YEARS looking for one from a collector who doesn't want to sell.

Just my opinion.....
