Lowering my mk2 ph2

I have a 2001 Mk2 Ph2 1.2 16v Dynamique. Im on a tight budget but one thing I would like is to lower it, are there any effective cheaper methods than coilovers?

Lowered my old 2003 Dynamique on Eibach Sportslines....dropped around 25-30mm before any settling of the springs........around £135 but they are the best quality springs that go with the original shocks...imo

just get some -40mm springs. cost about 60 quid on ebay

k tec 60mm lowering springs on mine standard shocks 100 pound look cool and easy to fit
