GDi Solid top mounts

  lift number 1 @ btm
surely these will make the car less compliant on poor roads? don't get me wrong, i want some for track work. but they must be more nervous and less comfortable day to day?

  Cup'd Monaco 172
IMO the spring and damper should do the work. Not the flex in the mounts. I bet coupled with some poly or harder wishbone bushes these are pretty good.

Its a real shame renault couldn't build a decent rubber mount in the first place.

I've only driven with them in the demo car which is really well setup, so with decent dampening it eats up the poor surfaced backroads up near the workshop. There's no fidget in the steering at all, where on mine on my Pro Drive setup FK's you are fighting to keep it going straight and hitting dips and pot holes it just wants to ditch find. Was nice on the A roads upto Donington as well and the roads are not exactly 'mint' lol. I'd happily use them day to day, but dunno if I'll bother getting them until I replace the suspension which I'd rather do instead of putting more power through it now...

Jesus out of interest which prodrive site did you have your suspension setup at? i know a few guys at various sites

They do look nice, but nothing you wouldnt beable to cook up yourself given enough inclination.

It wouldnt be as pretty though :)

I was going to try and find somewhere to get some polyurethene bar from and have a go and knocking up some engine mounts myself, could have a go at this something like this too.

any news on the AST dans

hommer... how did they perform? im in the market for some
they are a brillant peace of kit they make the front end feel like its part of the car not a part attached to the car i can only say that they work very well on my car with the new gdi coilovers .

we have also got a set on neal's 182 with his standard suspension on it they make the front a lot stiffer .
