Can't have Sportlines, can I have Prolines?

I wanted to fit some Sportlines tomorrow, but Directline won't let me until I'm 25, as they don't accept mods that change performance or looks of the car.

Could I fit Prolines instead? As they don't lower the car at all? Or will they not like this? They said I could fit non oe springs as long as they didn't increase performance or change looks.

I just wondered whether prolines came under this??

:) :clown:    :dapprove: :S  ;) :rasp: :approve: :( :boring: :D

if they come to asses the vehicle at anytime with it lowered tellthem the suspension struts have collapsed, thats why its so low ;)

mine on sportlines looks lower. but yea i would go for pros for handling i thought you were getting rid sweet lips?

of course they would. Insurance assessors are paid to do such things!

well yes, you do... as did I with my insurance even though my car came with both cup packs as standard.

Red lowering springs will be more noticeable than a subtle cup spoiler though...

shoulda said to your insurance company that one of your back springs has gone, you've contacted renault and they've advised you its a 2 month wait for the spring to come in stock, another garage has offered to fit sportlines for the same price, they normally agree to it then

Do i have to tell them about a Cold air feed?? ICE??

What about Turini's - Considering that it was an optional extra at the time...

Cheers, Sam

Yeah I was, but my bro asked if I could keep it for him until December, so I'm doing that.

K-Tec are bloody closed today anyway, so I have to wait another week now. Bloody useless they are.

You have to tell them about Turini's yes. ANY mod that changes the performance or appearance of the car from how it was sold must be declared. It's always been like this, I just always tell them about anything. But this time I didn't realise I'd have to be 25.
