55 Plate 172!!!

Just looking on ebay then and there is a 55 plate 172, he says its a cup but its clearly a FF. did a checkitfree check on it and got this back

You checked the registration number YE55OCJ. According to our records
this vehicle is a Renault Clio Renaultsport 172 Cup.

This vehicle is not recorded as stolen."

So its registered as a cup aswell. Anyone shed any light on this.

It's not a cup.

Just been registered as one for some reason. Just an error I'd say, because that is 100% not a cup.

Clio 172 Sport. Metallic Black, Probably one of the last ever registered 172 sports in December 2005 and has manufacturers warranty remaining. 6 months Tax, I have all the owners handbooks and service wallet. All usual features including:-
Xenon Headlights
ESP traction control
1/2 Leather Suede seats
6 CD Multichanger
Auto Lights / Auto Wipers
Automatic Climate control

It has only covered approx 11K miles and drives as new as you would expect, no rattles etc
It has previously been repaired on the Passenger front corner (hpi Cat C) but was professionally repaired using genuine Renault parts. Has been used Daily for last 6 months drives superb. I have a HPI printout
The car is available for viewing before the auction ends.
It is advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to end auction early. May P/Ex + cash
I expect £300 deposit upon auction ending then full payment within 5 days of auction ending

actually its an imported 172, cos it doesn't have the thatcham alarm, thats why its a 172, and 55 plate use your brains people

Just a late registered 172 which has been written off tbh. No way on earth i'd touch it at all.

Sometmes the Cup is cheaper to insure it is for me by a fair old amount.

They are some very late registered ones 54 and as said earlier 05 and 55 plates.

Deffinatly a late registered car,probably was sitting in a factory for a couple of years somewhere.I had this when i bought me focus RS,went too see one and it was on an 04 plate,when they stopped making them on a 53 plate,and it had a low build number,it was 300 something and the one i ended up buying was 4252 and on a 53 plate.Wanted too get the 04 plate but was sold too quick,gutted,would have been well rare.
