Interior light

I want to install footwell lights... I know chav etc... all the other abuse......
But when u finally get over it.. lol can you help me?? I notice that the interior light has 3 cables, white, black and red. I can't find where these drop though, as i want to put a relay into it and run the cathodes off this relay.
Can you tell me where i can find these wires going up to the light??? I scrounged around, but hard in the dark lol.

take the A-Pillar covers and see which side has the wires going down it.
They are very easy to take off, pull back the rubber strip then pull and unclip the cover.
Then that should get you a fair bit closer to the footwell, making it very easy to run a wire from footwell to behind the dash.
Good idea making them come on with interior light!
I'd prefer to wire them up to th dash instrument lights though.

Was gna do that but tis illegal aint it?? lol. Dnt wanna pass my test then get the LAPD on my back moaning bout my red feet lol..... but if they go off when door shut will look pimped and be legal as they not distracting other vehicles. Or cum on when the door opened to let the misses in lol........ Sounds like a plan.....

its not that chav mate , i got them in my footwells blue ones ...imo they look smart if done properly without tubes showing etc ..
