The controller board for the heads is naff.. or the heads for the drive itself.

Chuck it in the bin. If you have important data on it you would have to spend $$$$$$ to get it recovered. From the tone of your message though it I assume you dont.

even then it most prob wont be recovered as its the same as the diamondmax 10 i just sent away to get recovered they couldnt get anything off it
