Not 100% sure TBH.

But the rain sensor does sounds more of a bigger job to have repaired.

If it's on the windows it's the rain sensor as said above...also the light sensor for the auto lights.

Renault always say they need it for the day to cover themselves however small the job is in my experience. I wouldn't have a clue how to do it

So long as it's being done under warranty just let them do it :approve:

Which one you getting the work done at?

will it be a s**tter? :$
Pretty much, I had a Clio Campus 1.2 which made a right noise...told them when I took it back and they said 'oh yeah that's the arch liner that is catching on the wheel'. I wasn't impressed to say the least...and they couldn't find anything wrong with my car so it was a wasted day. That was Renault in Cressing near Braintree.

The rain sensor - I think mine makes a noise, like a whiring noise mild grinding noise.
any suggestions? I knew it was a rain sensor but I'm not sure if it was that making the noise...

thats probably the fan for the CC is it not? common problem it is...

and yes I'd say the Rain sensor too. Look in the guides section. A bit on it in there...

Yeah I'd say it's the fan for the CC. My 172 did it. My 182 is silent though, seems odd when I switch on the ignition and I don't hear it.

You can grease them up apparently to stop the noise, or get a new one for a few quid. There's a guide somehwere.

Take it in first thing and sit and wait, will be done with in the hour, thats what I used to do, means getting your arse out of bed pretty early though as most open at 8am.
