Painted engine cover.

How much is the going rate (roughly) for a painted engine cover?

Also should it be painted a type of paint to withstand engine bay temperatures?

i wouldn't have though a high temp paint would be needed as the cover is only plastic - if the temp was so high under there the cover would melt

I did a mk4 Golf gti cover a few years ago using plastic primer and plastic paint (stuff used for bumpers, etc) and it withstood the heat

Normal paint in aerosols from a bodyshop suppliers , Halfords etc... is fine . No need for high temp paint .

Obviously I'm interested in the Blue one.

Says on E-bay it is in Gordini Blue. Is this Racing Blue?
