REAR BRAKE LIGHTS ALWAYS ON in 182

I have a 2004 182 and this morning realised the rear brake lights are continuously on from putting the key in the ignition!!

Has anyone else had this problem?? Or knows how to fix this?

take the bulbs out

Duff brake light switch is most likely culprit. Do they go out when you put your foot on the brake?

no they stay on until i turn the ignition off
taking the bulbs out is something to do, but what about the spoiler brake light??

i know the problem now...
its seems to be a dodgy connection switch, which only turns off manually with ur hand! great use that is!!

Can happen, it has also happened to me that I kicked off that switch when I slammed the brakes...
