I had to get hub spaces for the megane. not sure if it will be the same for the clio.

They look really good and cant wait to get the coilovers on. because of the wheels sticking out, i need to get the arches done.

Ud have to smooth it off to buggery mate an have absolutely no lines or holes on the bodywork. In other words make it look absolutely s**te imo. Oh an totally convert the interior to a stupid colour an material. Iv sin many in white leather, the whollleeee interior in white leather. I mean jesus. They must not wear shoes.

LOL, yeah i know thats fully Euro'd but naa, i just mean on the outside. I just stick with some deep dishes....maybe smooth the handles with poppers will see, and lowered -60mm possibly, though i do like -40mm, it means i can get into the beach car park in the summer rather than park half a mile away in a layby! cheers

I've seen a few mk1's with smoothed out rub strips too, that looks cool, be a nightmare for car park dings though.

i want to get it as low as some of the clio's on here. need to modify the arches tho the front is lowered already with springs when i bought it. its at 30 at the mo. would like to get anothe 20-30mm lower.

Briallint, loving all the photos people are sending, thankyou!! Those Rota Cups sure look nice, I am loving the Borbet Type A's though, but cant find a site that fits onto Clio mk1s? What does it mean when next to the alloys it says.....
4x100 ET35? Sometimes i see an ET28 and an ET38? :S

What would you say would look better as i like them both....

The Rota Cups are 16 x 8 inches / 35mm Offset / 4x100 PCD...I take it they will fit straight onto my clio mk1?

well im going down the euro route and im going for low down n out obviously black clio, Coilovers possible drop about 90/100mm, bonnet bra, Red Rota GT3's, french plates, depending on money Red leather retrim, underbonnet covers in red leather, novelty stickers, French plates or even belgan plates (red n white) its all about being different but not different as in Blue car with Pink wheels different lol.

clearly you've never been involved in the dub scene. especially not in the RAT dub scene.....

That red VDub is lush! Where do you get these stretched tyres from? Are they more expensive than standards? Also, they are very low profile aernt they? Fab pics! Very happy for posting up!
Had lots of great help and there for plan to get me Borbet Type A's or some nice deep dishes with stretched tyres and lower as much as i can

I dont c how pepple find the "rat" scene decent. To me it just looks like a bunch of lads who cant mod and cant clean cars gathering together. An iv never been a fan of the mk2's my mates got one an the interior is sooooooooooooo dated.

have you ever driven a mk2 golf gti? possibly one of the most fun cars to drive. rat isnt about people thinking your car is mint or whatever its an acquired taste, like marmite.

stretched tyres are just normal tyres, but you'll be struggling to get them at regular tyre shops. mytyres.co.uk sell some, depends on the width of the rim. you need to really get 8" wide rims to get major stretch
