March Winter Wonderland..

Got hit with a blizzard in the early hours of this morning, causing chaos on the roads. Thought it was all over until about 11ish when another one hit, this time really bad and because no gritters had been out the roads were a disaster. Saw so many people losing and then regaining control. One guy slid backwards all the way down a steep hill. (at clarkston toll for those who know the southside) and ended up to the pavement, luckily avoiding both cars and pedestrians.
182 was a nightmare in the snow, had to switch the ESP off otherwise i couldn't move off at all.

On the plus side, it made everything very picturesque:

Close....its actually Thorntonhall, 2 minutes from my house.
The bridge you can just about make out in the 3rd last pic is the orbital road that takes you to mearns.

Whats it like down your neck of the woods mate? Going to be heading down that way soon...

I think East Kilbride is bordered on one side by the arctic circle, the weather conditions we get are ridiculous....
