running properly?

hi, had my 172 3 days now and i love it! just a quick question, although it does feel quick it doesnt really start pulling properly until about 5000 rpm, is this how theyre meant to be?

yes. often you feel the "5K Kick".

millerlight, im scared, youve done 1,137 posts, 1137 is my logging in number at work and over the last couple of years this number crops up everywhere i look. dont think im just noticing it more cos i know the number as i never see 1136 or 1138. feels like its following me like that film, think it was called 23?
