aftermarket car security

hey guys , where i live isnt rough or anything but has a record lately of a few modified cars being stolen then found a week later burnt out etc !! this has got me worried as i have a tv in my dash on show etc and my parents keep going on saying it will happen to mine one day if i keep modifying it !! i would like an all singing all dancing alarm system ... any one have any ideas or even a cheaper alarm system that would still be affective ....

Get it hidden for a start !

Any decent cat1 like a Toad, clifford or cobra will sort you out, maybe get one with proximity sensors too.

Get a steering wheel lock too if your overly worried about it.

you cant skimp on good alarm systems, clifford, toad, all the big names are the ones to look at.

EDIT: I wouldnt get proximity sensors, they attract attention
