Detailing Kit??

  SchwepTek™
I am new to this detailing stuff but after having the cup detailed the other day I was very impressed with the results.

Is there a kit that i can get which includes everything to get me started or am i better off buying it all separately?

So fair I have some back to black, Autoglym SRP, Megs Quick Detailer and some cheap Tescos Shampoo! lol.

Depends what level of detailing you want to go to, how much you want to spend and your ability.

Try Meg's gold class shampoo
Lambs wool wash mitt
Micro fibre cloths
Sonus Der Wunder Drying towels (not Megs water magnet)
Last touch
Clay bar
Meguiars #80 & 83 polishe's
Porta Cable polisher
Autosmart Tardis
AG SRP & EGP
AG bumper and trim care
P21S wax

That should see ya right for a bit mate

£80 but its a good price.

Or you could build it up yourself.

get a Megs lambswool mitt, some megs shampoo plus, 2 buckets (from your supermarket will do) some sonus der wunder towels which are in a 3 pack

Youve already got srp and some detailing spray.

Either get some autogism Extra gloss Protection or some wax, try dodo juice but im sure people will tell you different waxes are the best.

Bit harsh IMHO Not as bad as nxt gen but no where near as good as shampoo plus.

Its far from harsh and is probably one of the best OTS shampoo's, plus not everyone wants to buy 5lts of shampoo.
Most people just want to go into Halfrauds and pick up there products.

they do it in 5 ltrs dont they ? didnt realise they sold the smaller bottles.

eh?

They do what in 5ltrs? Sold what in smaller bottles?

Shampoo plus is avaliable in 5ltrs only, Gold class is sold in 3 different sized bottles.

I very rarely use Gold class now a days anyway, I only use Megs Hyper wash as its much better then Shampoo Plus imo

As said Gold Glass is not harsh, not a bad wash just not as nice as others or as cost effective as Shampoo Plus or Hyper Wash.

So when at shows and things I can use my quick detailer with what sort of cloth? lol

I would be wary of just QDing at show if the car gets dirty on the way.

I use Pakskak Ultra Plushes for QD duties.
