Peco

Car  Clio
Hi
has anyone got a peco backbox fitted to their car? any comments?
I know they were crap 2 or 3 years ago but wat about now?
cheers

They have a terrible reputation, although i had one on my old Clio two years ago and it was fine, sounded nice and didnt fall apart unlike Renault

I had one on my old mk1 1.4 it was ss looked the part and sounded ok, i dont see the point on spending loads on a 1.4 as gains will be minimal, ive got a kte one on the 172 and its the nuts and gives that extra note to the engine!

get a peco if youve got a small engine and want it for looks, cheap and cheerful!

I had a baked bean tin Peco exhaust on my car, sounded great, but too loud at times, but also its ugly as well!

ive got one on mine, i bought it when i was 17 tho, it looks "ok" and sounds the part, but you get what u pay for mate, performance isnt an issue on a 1.2 8v, its only there for the look and the sound

im waiting for one to come through the post an getting it fitted next week, only cost me £40 so should look and sound pretty smart. As said above no point in spending a fortune on small engines though tbh
