caster and camber - coilovers

ok ive been running eibach springs before but will be putting on cobra coilovers in the next week or two.

i plan on lowering in it a lot (at least so you cant see a gap between the tyre and arch). so whats all this talk about camber change etc.

and will it affect my cars handling? my mate goes on about it but i have no clue what hes talkin about.

as long as it doesnt make my handling worse its all good. what height would make handling better?

anyone explain?

cheers

I'm interested in explanation too actually.

Also, planning my dissertation on how the "correct height" for best handling is found.

Good luck on that dissertation.;) lol What course you on? Just finished my degree in auto eng.

Too many factors to consider. My head starts to explode just by thinking about it on a sun eve.

lol can anyone give me the basics then?

and is negative camber at -2 (when set at -70mm) really that bad or noticable in a straight line?

how do you adjust camber then? is it just raise the height of your car ?

No, camber is adjusted with camber bolts but if your not using it on track i dont think you need them.

Mine are going on in the next week or two hopefully.

ahh ok and are camber bolts specific to your coilov ers or same accross all clios?

also is the negative camber noticable on a drive anyone?

There is gerneraly Camber adjustment on the Shocks the self to begin with so shoulddent be need for Adjustment bolts.....Also Camber at -2 Deg will be very noticible by looking and will also speeed up wear on your tyres....
