After having the p*ss taken out of my car because of the height of it for so long and FCS is coming up I thought I'd make an effort and invest in some coilovers.

Yea went to arnold clark and got some from there. Ye managed to sort the top mounts out but one of the top mount bolts was solid virtually. Couldn't get it undone with an impact driver gun and bent one allen key trying to get it undone, eventually got it undone though after about half an hour.

We did hear a few creaks but nothing to worry about, the most worrying thing was compressing the spring on the old dampers. The spring came out of the spring compressor and lucky my dad had said a couple of minutes before 'better put that nut on the end, its better being safe than sorry' good job he did really!!!

I'm not exactly sure how low they are at the moment but the back is virtually as low as I can go, but I've left all the bumpstops in and everything unlike jord who has taken them out (I think its the bumpstops correct me if I'm wrong jord). As for the front there is still quite a lot of thread left so dread to think what the front would be like if it was any where near the bottom

The right imo is perfect, sporty feel but not too hard that its uncomfortable and handles like its on rails just doesn't roll like it used to :rasp:

Cheers for all the comments people, it's a bit low at the front, scrapes when I go round corners too quick so I virtually have to crawl round them. Will be getting raised up at the front by about 5mm on Friday.
