dont have a lot of local garages about tbh, bit stuck as i did have someone to do it but they backed out telling me they cant do it now

i found someone to fit my springs off here, there are a lot of willing people who im sure will help you.

Years ago, I got some fitted by a local garage for £60.

I now get a mate to do it for £40. (He's done about 4 sets for me lol!)

Either way, its a cheap thing to do.

you can PM hazza, he lives in herts, hes not done it before but he's like 95% sure what hes doing ...

lucky you have someone to do it for you, if only i could pay £40 to get mine done...

usually about £20 a corner at a garage. then should be able to do it in less then 1 1/2 hours if they know what they are doing

who fitted yours mate? might phone up and get a quote at a garage tomorrow...

i done it myself, my dad has a garage though so i had air tools, two post ramps and endless amount of tools to choose from!;) he charges about that price though. just ring around and ask the labour price per hour of the garage and you can work out how much it should cost. no more than 1h30mins. i done it in that time and it was my first time changing springs on a clio.

not done it personally, but heard they are a easy to fit if you have the spring tensioner.
i know of people that have done it and tbh if they can, anyone can!!

half an hour job on the back , if that , its the fronts which are time consuming as the struts have to be stripped down and then put back together ! get someone off here to do it or a mate who knows things about it . quite simple tbh .

im in derby mate, i'll do it for £40, not sure how far away you are?

rears a 5 second job,
fronts are complicated,
i did mine myself,
unless you know what ur doin, i wudnt bother doing it urself,
but i wudnt pay a garage to do it,

me and my m8 did it without the first clue what we were doing,
worked out alright in the end, but he did manage to pop the driveshaft out the gearbox spilling most my gearbox oil :S

Contact ben at angelworks.

It wouldnt take him long, so doubt would cost too much. He's just down the road from you in cambridge.
