Yeah im a student lol...the gti was a straight swap for the clio, the running costs and everything are the same, but the insurance is abit more...ahh welll!!!

yeah, did the swap tuesday.

pulled onto the camp site friday, and suprisingly we pull up next to dan...the new owner...had a nice 2 hour chat and the likes, about his new plans and how hes getting it featured and the likes....was awesome!

..then we continued the chat saturday afternoon, where he told me during the night the clio had been kicked in, and his mates car had been trashed.

Gutting as i spent so much modding it to the standard it was

It was my fourth clio, and i starting noticing imperfections in the bodywork...
Not what i realy wanted so cut my losses and starting fresh with this.

Liking the sound of the TT red leather. Also I reckon if that was a straight swap, you did bloody well I think!

Thanks dan! yeah, sticking around on cliosport for sure, and as soon as i start work on it ill be building a project thread.

the first post being me replacing the clutch and gearbox that ive managed to f**k up tonight...cant get any gears what so ever,....FAIL.

I know the gearboxes have a rep - that someone mentioned in this thread - but that's the most amazing piece of bad luck I've ever seen! Any chance of fitting the 6spd instead of the 5spd? Assuming you'd want to of course, is it a straight swap?

Ahh i dunno. Span up out of a junction ( wet on an incline)...obv the car juddered and i couldnt get any gears . Gay...yeah the 6 speed is a straight swap, and what ill be opting for...just looking around for one now
