Unreliability 'usually' comes from excessive high revs. So as long as you don't set a silly high rev limit when it's mapped it will be fine. My peak power is at 7100rpm from memory.

Titanium 182 ITB Build

Unreliability 'usually' comes from excessive high revs. So as long as you don't set a silly high rev limit when it's mapped it will be fine. My peak power is at 7100rpm from memory.
So the rear brakes have been makeing a awful noise lately and a qucik chat to @George@RTR_Parts and i was soon sorted out,
Decided on a set of-
Brembo HC groved front disks with mintex M1144 pads
And OE rear disks with brembo pads
also for good measure chucked in now spacers and hubnuts.
So to start off i had a go ar the rears and well lets say what a pain in the A$$ that was the hub cam off but the bareing decided to stay put so after alot of bearing i cut it with a 4inch grinder and made a series of cuts around it and beat if off.
Eventually came off and the rest was easy as pie, dont have any fitting pics as i was in a rush and it was late at night but the new disks do look good, not the best picture but here it is
so i wanna get the calipers tidyed up next give em a lick of paint soon, also last night i had a little drive and bedded the new pads in as to @George@RTR_Parts description, and all can say is wow im impressed about how well it stops now.
Bit of a boreing update but i got excited about them so i thoght i'd share it
Hopefully get back the the engine build next week after forge action day at coombe.

I'll try its just finding the time and motivation as of late, but i got a job interview on tuesday so after that it hopefully will be a day on the engine

Update time
So on tuesday i had the day off work and @Richy182. siad he would pop down and give me a hand
Not much in the way of pictures but progress was made
So the rod bolts were taken out and some nice new ARP ones gone in
Then it was off to the parts cleaner to clean the sump of any crap and clean it up a bit ready for the new gasket to go on.
After that it was sump back on and engine back on the stand ready to put the head on.
But before that a little clean was in order, so rich th lad done some sanding for me
after that the gasket went on and then bolted the head on ,
I'm started to get excited at this point as its starting to come togther
After this it was time to fit the air con delete and alternator ready.
And test fit the bodies of course
So its left like this now untill i get myself a cambelt kit then it'll be paint time

So quick call to my mate and he fitted and balanced em up for me

So the ball is rolling again! With a bit of luck it'll be done soon, after having a good birthday/Christmas where my friends and girlfriend bought be some bits I needed to get the thing built I had no excuse anymore so waited untill the next payday and orderd pretty much everything I need to get it done now. Just finding time when I'm free and @Dan@SJM is free. So I've been doing little jobs for now and started to tart up the engine a bit.
Then the day after I had the nasty job of fitting the areo catches (witch I hated doing)
So that's all done next job for this week is moving the batrry to the boot and then it's good to go once I get the goahed

So yeah it's done.
I did get nice shiny one but it dosent fit, so I had to use my drink bottle haha, not yet just a basic road map for now going to book a proper RR day soon tho.
