right, stalk controls!!!! My clio is the 04 reg, ive tried Incartec leads...........NO lol

Tried the alpine own - APF-D102RE - which stated that it was for clio/megane 04!..........no lol

so any ideas people?? or shal i just give up lol in each cases its been the yellow mini iso, i think this because the gold connections inside it dont seem to match up to the gold female connections on any of the adaptors, there is a need to move one across, if that makes any sense lol

anyway, any ideas or anyone else in the same boat??

its the alpine cda 9855r, the one with the glide touch on the front, its new, and it says on the box, ready for factory controls

well iv got a 9880R so i presume it should be the same as mine, iv managed to get it working with the stalk controls. what leads have you bought?

if you didn't already know you need 1 lead which is the alpine part (few wires with a headphone jack like thing that goes into the HU) and you need the clio bit (a fair few wires, a big plastick box thing) and you connect the two together.

you need to take the dash off with the ones i have (halfords, £35 quid)

ye, when i purchased the incartec leads, i also had the specific apline part for the display, that one didn;t work, and when i purcashed the alpine part a couple of weeks ago that also didn;t work. there must be something wrong with my wireing or something because people with actual 05 reg clios work fine with either of the adaptors ive bought :S

mine is made by auto leads i think if that helps you?

i have the autoleads stalk controls that plug in behind the clock (dash off jobby) its clio fit and then u get the correct patch lead from halfrauds to match your headunit came to bout 40quid all in IIRC

Halfords i think, it was a LONG time ago!

They are in my car working fine.

hmmmmmmm just aint got the skill to remove the dash lol well would prob forget how to put it back rele lol just anoys me that everyone else gets the right leads and myn seems to be some freaky wiring or yellow iso or sumin lol haha poor me

what year is your clio though dude? i read up on those adaptors and it says for 2000 models and some 2001 models myn is 04, i think i need the CAN BUS adaptors, people have mentioned it to me, very expensive though and when i read up on THEM it says there for 05---- lol which i think will be the new clio 3

i brought that lead with the yellow plug on it and couldnt get it to work so i took it back and purchased the 1 to go under the dash i dont know of any part numbers though!

i also had to remove my stereo and leave unplugged for an hour b4 the stalk controls would work so it could reset!

hmmm if you can remember, wat made you use these adaptors dude? did you try any others first? sorry for all the questions just had two parts that dont work lol starting to loose faith in my clio's wireing lol

when i tried to change my stereo i was digging around in there trying to tidy the wires and i found a stalk adapter that worked with my new stereo lol. result!
